1. snap!

    last night my roommates and i decided to venture into the uncharted territory (well, only for Jonny really) that is Lincoln Park to check out Chicago’s newest craft cocktail establishment, The Barrelhouse Flat. i won’t bore you with a long story about everything we had, i’ll just say that after one visit (and a few tasty gin cocktails) i am a fan. from the decor to the drinks to the small plates (ummm… pig face poutine anyone?!!) to the free pool to chopping it up with one of the owners (cool guy, major points won) for a spell, everything was awesome. so awesome in fact, that i’ll probably be going back tonight before the Metronomy/Class Actress show down the road at Lincoln Hall. you should definitely check this spot out before everybody jumps on the bandwagon and it turns into a madhouse!
