1. snap!

    this is probably the most iconic picture from the storm that just blasted our wonderful midwestern metropolis. it’s so perfect a shot that it almost seems staged. i personally, loved this storm. going out and fooling around in huge snow drifts with my girlfriend, roommate, and dog brought me back to younger days when snow was actually convenient for me (ie: no school, building snow forts, etc). although it definitely shut down a lot of the city and has been a nuisance to some folks, i think it was pretty wonderful. i mean come on… thundersnow?? THUNDERSNOW?!?!! that being said… i’m glad the clean up has begun so i can hit the gym and get back to work this weekend. hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did! (via emphasisadded)
